I am satisfied with the TH6110 thermostat. I chose 4 star because this leaves room for possible future problems. It installed well and the features are ideal for me. It operates on current from the furnace so I don't need to change batteries often. I've read that it clicks when controlling. It does, but it is inaudible a few feet distant. I had an older HW programmable. This one seems to have smoother regulation. I had a question that was quickly answered by Plumbing Planet. One side comment, if you need a cover plate to to conceal old mounting holes, you will find that the HW piece for this is very pricey. I made one myself. I will need to wait for a greater mind to come and figure out the instructions on this item. Since my old thermostat was a Honeywell, I just thought I needed to match the color coded wires and I would be living in a cool house again. It wouldn't work, too much programing. I will keep it and wait for the brighter person to come. I called to see if a repairman would come and was quoted "$2.25 a mile or $202.50 millage, then $72.50 an hour labor". Thank goodness for Amazon though, I can shop any time day or night and have had good service. Rita
