I ordered this fan for my new apartment to help circulate the central air that freezes the bedroom while the living room bakes. It really moves a lot of air and isn't loud at all (sure, it isn't silent, but it isn't obtrusive at all and is actually quite pleasant for sleeping.) I really appreciate the oscillating function because it doesn't squeak and helps for a more thorough air flow. It is also quite compact and sleek but with a decent cord length. The head can be adjusted (and stays put!) and has three functions that offer choice. Really nice little fan!
***UPDATE! I liked it so much I ordered another one from amazon.com. A really great little fan!

I just got this fan this morning and I am so impressed with the power of air flow it has. it really moves the air! It is super powerful for it's size! It isnt noisey like most oscillating fans either.. I am so pleased and impressed with it, I am ordering another today.. You couldn't ask for a better fan..I like the small size of it too, it doesn't stick out like a sore thumb like the bigger models do and yet moves the air just as well or better..High quality fan for the size and money. I highly recommend it. If you have kids going to college, it would be perfect for their dorm rooms, it's perfect for any room!Customer Review: Great for baby's room

I was searching for a small fan that made a lot of noise for my son's room (age 1). The problem was, all the fans were "whisper quiet" or made "25% less noise". I wanted a noisy fan to drown out noises that may wake him from his sleep. Found this fan and it is perfect! It makes a nice humming noise and he is sleeping so much better! It oscillates and stays in place if you would like. It is better quality than I thought, although that didn't matter much to me. It makes a great noise and I am very happy with it. Pros: Keeps the room very cool. It's a small fan, so can be put pretty much anywhere in the room.
Cons: Very loud when put at high speeds, also loud at low speed, compared to other fans I have bought.
Summary: I bought this fan for my dorm room, I will soon move in and will find out if it truly works. But for now, I just recieved it today, and it works right out of the box. I love it because it keeps the room cool.

I have been pleased with Honeywell super turbo fans in the past, and have several sizes for different areas of my house. This fan is a bit smaller than a dinner plate, and is used more as a personal fan, or bathroom fan, then anything else. It has a powerful punch for a fan this small.
I really like the larger ones I have also. Overall, the Honeywell Super-Turbo fans seem to outperform other fans in the same price range.
