This fan has been a lifesaver. I bought two at one time during this past heat wave and it certainly came in handy. One of the bedrooms in my house is the hottest room in the entire house with no fresh air circulation, though it does have a ceiling fan already in it. However, the ceiling fan does nothing of value during the hot season and the fan blew fresh, strong air that circulates through that entire bedroom. Plus, I really like the different settings it has. You have a lot of control with this one and I definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a good price for a great fan.Customer Review: Unbelievable customer service, incredible fan!

A friend told me about this type of fan and even though I don't have window's I can actually close around it, it works incredibly well at bringing in some cool air and taking out the hot air that accumulates during the day in my unit--I had no idea that this would be possible. Air conditioning is out of the question due to the aesthetics of my complex and this unit is small, clean looking and keeping me very cool and very happy.
I have now ordered three units and they came practically within seconds of ordering them and I'm not kidding.
I am eternally grateful!

I have been using this fan for several weeks now and am very pleased. I live in a city and the summers can get very hot, but just blasting this fan at night keeps my room cool and comfortable. ALl the dials are easy to use, and although I have yet to clean it, it seems like it shouldn't be too hard. The only trouble I have is with the expanders. They are hard to get used to and it can be a challenge to adjust them to the width of the window, but once you get it down it's not that bad. Overall I love it and am glad I didn't get the bionaire which costs twice as much.Customer Review: great cool off with pennies on electricity

I found this product to be great. It will cool off your room in minutes from all day of heat provides that the temperature of the outside is cool off at that time. The heat can be trapped inside your house from the sun baking on it all day. You could also use it to exhaust your hot air from building up by reversing the setting and setting at some temperature that you desire. Overall, I found this fan unit to be a life saver during the summer time. I have it in all my rooms and it is still nothing comparing to you using A/C which would cost you an arm and a leg.Customer Review: Second purchase

I'm an owner of the Duracraft (the name speaks for itself) for about 10 years. I do smoke and use it in exhaust mode mostly. It served me well for all those years, while I only took it out of the window for cleaning. Water-resistant motor worked under any weather condition. A few times, I had to lube the motors with an oil to stop squeaking in bearings. Other than that - no problem - still works fine. I'm moving the old unit to the kitchen now and buying a new one. Seems the same unit - only with different brand name. Hope it would perform alike.
