Customer Review: The hardest working humidifier

This is the best and most quiet humidifier on the market. I have a grand piano which needs to be kept in a room which has 45% humidity all year round - during the winter this entails alot of humidification. I've used Sears (too loud) air-o-swiss (too expensive & mediocre) and lots of others. I started with one of these and now have 3. They've given me no trouble and they pump an incredible amount of water into the air - I paid $50 which is about a quarter of the price of an equivalent air-o-swiss.Customer Review: Refreshing steam, relaxing noise, all night

It has been extremely dry in my area of Texas this year, causing discomfort while trying to sleep. This humidifier has been very reliable when it comes to adding moisture to my bedroom air. I have used it many nights over the last few weeks without any problems. My Municipal Utility District has very hard water so the heating plate does accumulate buildup after a few uses. However, I just squirt it with some vinegar from a spray-bottle, and the buildup dissolves within 15 minutes or so.Customer Review: Wonderful product!

This is simply a great product and at a very reasonable price.
I unpacked it, filled it up, plugged it in and off it went! The LCD screen lets you set the exact humidity that you would like and the humidifier then monitors and keeps it at that level.
It keeps my 1200 sq. ft. apartment very comfortable.
There are a few mineral absorption pads included in the box, but I would recommend buying a replacement pack, too.
I certainly recommend this product!

With any electronic device, there's the possibility of getting one that doesn't work properly. Beyond that, I can't figure why anyone would have a problem with this humidifier. It's extremely easy to use and quiet. The unit is small enough to tuck away in the corner and just about everything is easily removable for cleaning. I clean mine once a week. I love the digital readout of the current humidity level and being able to set it not to go over a certain level.Customer Review: Great humidifier

After reading all the bad reviews on this product Honeywell HWM450 I decided to order it anyhow as it was exactly what I wanted. Yes on high you have to fill often but thats because it gives out a lot of moisture. I did have one problem with filler cap as it had split. But a little electrical tape fixed the problem . I guess I could have gotten a new one but this one does work. If the heating element is cleaned as per instruction it operates with the minimum of care.
