If you have a small room, it will heat it efficiently. Just make sure to close the door. It won't work for a larger room, but the price is so cheap, you can get a few for each room. It does the job for the price. It would heat up a child's room perfectly on those cold winter nights. It is also safe and if tipped over, it will turn off automatically. Not bad for the price. You may even find it cheaper than the price here at Amazon. I purchased it at Linens & Things for $24.99 (sale price) The regular price was $29.99.Customer Review: Completely met the need

For 23 bucks it was completely worth it. It heats the room we are in so much that we went from halfway up on the dial to less then that. We have still not found the perfect setting but it consistently keeps us warm at night. It is noisy about as much so as our air conditioner. Do not get this if you mind white noise as it will bother the hell out of you. My SO needed something to sleep through the night and this met that need. She now no longer complains about being cold unless we do not turn it on.Customer Review: Excellent addition to my office...

I'm extremely pleased with this little heater. I've had two other brand heaters to die on me in the last year but this is an excellent replacement. My office is frosty yearlong so this heater is great because I'm able to run it at any temperature without any problems; the metal surface area does it hot so it's safe...it automatically cuts off if you tip it over and doesn't "overheat" or short circuit after running it for an extended period of time. Very accurate thermostat. Puts out a lot of heat. Good design, the thermostat is so far away from the heat source that it gets an accurate room temperature reading. Many heaters have their thermostats placed in a bad location, either too close to the coils or at the top of the device so that when the fan turns off, the heat rises off of the coils and makes the heater stay off too long. I bought this heater three weeks ago for my small room ( i was literally dying of cold)and i haven't regretted it one bit. It warms up very fast and the 360 degree function makes it heat up my entire room pretty quickly.The heater however emanates a 'heating smell' when its turned on, which you have to get used to.I strongly recommend this heater for anyone with a small room because of its safety features and performance.
