Tools and Hardware Reviews of Honeywell TH6110D1021 FocusPro Programmable Digital ThermostatCustomer Review: Great little thermostat! Summary: 5 Stars
Simple to program and use. Would buy again if my other unit (not the same as this) fails. Great and easy to change temp for vacation and such. Easy to read and back-lit. Little click on cycle changes but not too bad.

Excellent product. Easy to set up and use. Programming/schedules make sense and can easily be adapted to meet ones needs.
Customer Review: Good, but not perfect. Summary: 4 Stars
I like this thermostat, but it's not the perfect one for warmer climates like here in Florida. Reason? One, you cannot set it for automatic switching between cooling and heating unless the heating temp. is at least three degrees above the cooling temp. We like to have the overnight heating temp. two degrees BELOW the daytime cooling temp., and in the winter, when it's cool at night and hot during the day, it must switch to heat mode at least three deg. HIGHER than where you have set the cooling temperature during the day. Bummer. The thermostat does keep the temp. at a very narrow one degree or less difference, but 77 degrees when cooling feels colder than 77 degrees when heating. (humidity) Therefore, I must switch from cooling during the day to heating at night, and change the temperature setting each time (it automatically sets the three degrees difference even when on HOLD). If you live in a colder climate though, it would work very well.
Customer Review: Nice thermostat, annoying clicking Summary: 4 Stars
The FocusPro 6000 is a good thermostat, very easy to program, and with an attractive design. It could be slightly thinner, though - at almost 1-1/2" it protrudes a bit too much from the wall.
At any time a programmed temperature can be manually overidden - temporarily until the next program phase (e.g. Sleep) kicks in, or permanently - until the override is released.
I am, however, annoyed by the clicking sound the thermostat makes when it switches on and off. I replaced an old manual plain vanilla Honeywell thermostat and that didn't use to click. I'll see if I get used to the clicking, I don't rule out looking for a different thermostat just because of this clicking. I've seen some soundproof models on the market.
Customer Review: Honeywell thermostats Summary: 3 Stars
It is a fine programmable thermostat. However, the thermostat depends solely on the batteries it comes with; It is unable to receive power from the heating/cooling system's 24V transformer, unless the existing system has 5 wires rather than the standard 4 wires. So, if batteries run out without the owner noticing it, and the house is left vacant for a length of time in the middle of winter, a crisis may result.
