Customer Review: Worth every penny

Despite the higher than average cost for this thermostat, I was determined to get one which allowed separate programming of the fan. This unit allows three choices for that: Auto, On, and Circ. Auto comes on with the heating/cooling. On keeps the fan on all the time. And Circ is what I was after: it randomly circulates the air about 30% of the time. This has made a *tremendous* improvement in the evenness of the temperature throughout the house - which has made it so much more comfortable. There are no cold spots any more. The family noticed this improvement as well.
As icing on the cake, the bigger than average screen on this unit makes it much easier to program than the previous two programmable thermostats I've used. Rather than having to program each day individually, any combination of days (or all 7 days) of the week can be selected and programmed together all at once. Very convenient.
Bottom line: this felt like a splurge going in, but with my experience with it over this past winter, it's been worth every penny.
