I bought this for a small room that I use for making fishing lures. I use liquids that have harmful fumes and I needed one that would draw the unpleasant odors and fumes to the outside so it did not spread through my house. This fan does the job! It fits perfect and is so easy to take out of the window and to put back in when I am ready to use it. I definetly recommend this fan!! I would like to have more to use in the spring and fall all through my house just to circulate the air instead of using my a/c. The price is right too!! If you need a window fan... We used this in the bedroom during shoulder seasons. With two dogs in the bedroom, air quality was poor. By using this fan I was able to bring fresh air in and exhaust dander and dust.
We set the temperature on the fan and set on fan to supply and one to exhaust. The fan comes on when the room temp is warm from all the body heat, then shuts off when the room cools down. What a great feature! No more freezing in the middle of the night.
Quality wise, this unit has been running for about 1 year with no problems at all.

I've tried two other fans and they were too noisy (high pitch whine). This one is the most quiet and a decent deal for a reversible fan. The nice thing is that the controls are separate for each fan, so if you only need a little airflow you can have only one fan running. You can also change the direction of the air by rotating the grilles (grating?) - sorry, English is my second language and I'm not sure how to call these:) I find the temperature control pretty useless though.Customer Review: Perfect works as expected

The fan fit perfectly in the window, the temp controlled fan works. Wish list, it would be nice if there was a way to close the fan openings when not in use. Another way of explaining this would be is that basically the design makes the window open to outside air & sounds all of the time. Whether you want it or not. Otherwise for the price I paid < $30 it was perfect. Make a point to shop around, the same units price range was from $25 - $85.Customer Review: Excellent product for the price

I bought this fan to replace one that was broken during moving. This is the second one we have purchased and it is a great product. The ability to vent air with the flick of a switch is very useful, the thermostat works quite well and the twin fans have a good amount of circulation power for a fan this size. I would recommend this fan to anyone.
