I got the Spin & Scrub H3040 refurbished from Best Buy. It came completely clean and back to manufacturer standards. I had read some other reviews and was worried after I had ordered the item. I was ecstatic when it arrived and it looked and worked brand new. It's been over a month now of being used daily so I thought it was time to write my review.
Excellent suction power..Easy to clean.. I am always worried about cross contamination especially because we have 4 dogs, two of which who are over 14 years old and constantly have accidents. We first got rid of the rugs and replaced with vinyl flooring. Now I do a quick pick up with paper towels and then pull out the spin and scrub. It cleans/scrubs and dries the area leaving it fresh and clean.
Also, our Vinyl is not totally smooth, it has ridges to make it look more like stone tile. The scrubbers clean this very well and save me from getting on my hands and knees. I cannot praise this product enough. I will never use a mop/bucket again.
Update 8/2/10. I discovered today that my Spin/Scrub was not sucking up the water as it had done in previous cleaning. So I sat down lifted it and noticed the entire unit was clogged with dog hair (having 5 dogs will do that, yes we inherited another dog). It literally took me minutes to take apart and a little longer to clean it out and so easy to put back together. Did I say I love this product..LOVE LOVE LOVE!!!
