Gave this to my 12 year old daughter for Christmas. Ha. She loves it. The intent was she could take it camping and cope by sucking up bugs out of her tent. We tested it to see if it would keep a charge for a weekend without being plugged in. We used it over and over again for several days and it works fabulously. It has great suction, and we love that it is a wet vac also. It's entirely possible that some of those bugs can get back out by its design; and I don't like that we have to remove the filter to dump it, but that's a small inconvenience. I am very impressed by its power, charge life, and ease of use. Some reviews say the suction area is too small. Yes, it is only about a two inch opening; but the power is great enough that you don't have to be right on top of debris. Added bonus: your 12-year-old may vacuum your stairs! I was growing tired of constantly having to sweep up the cat litter that got tracked outside of the litter box. Litter has a way of escaping any broom/dust pan combo. Frustrated, I began looking online for a solution and found this. While the other reviewers are correct about how loud this little thing is, I can easily overlook that. It's a pretty small trade-off for the power this little thing has. Now, daily litter patrol is quick and easy. As far as the wet vac functionality, I haven't had a chance to try it on big spills, but have used it on small amounts of water here and there with success. The collection bin is also easy to empty and the filter is a breeze to clean! Just run it under the faucet and let it dry overnight! I bought a fancy hand vac, in one of those upscale Malls in NJ. The Vac was a disaster, didn't pick up anything and was so loud it gave me a headache. Left in my guest room for several years, a few years ago I discovered the Hoover hand wet/dry vac. It is wonderful, charges up quickly and picks up everything. Easy to clean and wash the filter and empty the various parts, I just bought two more, one for my daughter and one for if and when mine perishes. It's still, after probably 6 years, in excellent condition and I use it every day.
I may put the second new one on the second floor. I highly recommend this product that is the best buy in town for efficiency, usefulness and storage. I keep it on top of my refrigerator, out of the way, pluged in and charging.
A real keeper.

This is a great product. I recommend everyone should keep one at home. It easily cleans up any kind of mess. Dry, dust or liquid. You can let your kid play and make any mess all he or she wants to their hearts fill and then when they are sleeping or napping you can clean up the mess in seconds with not much effort. This is a life saver in all cleaning aspects. I have 4. 2 for me, 2 I gifted. I have been using hoover hand vacs for the last 2.5 yrs and my life has been easy with this around.
Ladies men can also equally participate in clean ups with this. So no excuses for men. Get going and buy this if you have toddlers who make messes. The air-suction in this sucks all the dirt right into a cup. If you need something from the mess/dirt your toddler threw into. You can get it right back with this.

I was looking for a vacuum cleaner to use in the car. I wasn't sure if this was good for the car, since not many reviews mentioned it. I can say now that it works well for the car too.
The runtime of this vacuum after a full re-charge is 7 minutes! That was a cause of concern when I first learned of it, but it turns out that I never need more than 2-3 minutes in any cleanup. Even cleaning the car interiors won't consume an entire 7minutes. So that turned out to be a non-issue.
Some have commented that they wished the power button stayed on without having to keep it pressed. I actually like it the way it is since this will prevent the vacuum from running when it is not being used, it was a thoughtful design choice. This is what enables the 7mins to go a long way in the cleaning.
