I am so happy with this product! I just want to say that I have done 90% of the vacuuming in my house over the last 30 years, 100% over the last two. I have pets(two cats), and this cleaner rocks! I figured that I would "test drive" it for a gift to my mother, as I really did not need a self-propelled model(never had one before). But this is one sweet cleaner! I guess I will have to buy another one I was somewhat reluctant to go back to a "bagger", but it cleans so much better than the last bag-less vacuum that I had purchased from a different manufacturer. With the cat hair, I would have to stop and empty the bin 3-4 times when doing the whole house, and it really did not do a great job cleaning at that. This Hoover has a LED light indicator that lets you know when your carpet is "clean", and since my house is 90% carpet, that is a plus for me. The "bare foot walk through test" confirms that it cleans so much better that what I had before. I could not be happier with this product, and it was delivered before it was estimated to be, and in perfect condition. Very highly recommended!Customer Review: CLEAN FLOORS AT LAST!!!

This is the most awesome vaccum I have ever used. I had a bagless that had to be emptied before I even finished a room. I have come to the conclusion after using The Windtunnel, that my old one was not really even getting any dirt up. The Windtunnel even tells me when the floor is still dirty with light signals. This vaccum is so strong it actually feels as if it sucking the carpet off the floor. It pulled dirt out of the carpet that the other vaccum had missed just the day before. I am really impressed. The self-propelled feature is nice too. Makes vaccuming not so hard on my back! I am not worn out after vaccuming the entire house either. I would reccomend this vaccum to everyone that wants a good vaccum and more than one room of carpet to do in a day. A bagless is useless if you have more than just one room and my old one had not near the power of this one and left the dirt behind. I do not like cleaning and sure don't like doing it if it is doing nothing...Love this vaccum cuz when I am done I am sure that what I have done is actully sure that I cleaned and that it is clean!Customer Review: Very Pleased!

After months of searching reviews everywhere on the net and talking with people, I decided to give this vacuum a try. I must say as soon as it arrived I dragged it into the house (it is a heavy box) and set it up. To my surprise the only thing I had to do was take the two screws and screw on the handle and take some tape off of it. Within 5 minutes it was ready to run, I went through my whole house which consists of 1 carpeted room, 2 hardwood floored rooms with area rugs, and a kitchen and shoe room which houses a litter box for our 4 cats. This vacuum did FANTASTIC! I have not see suction like this in forever! It actually pulled up my runner in the kitchen which my old vacuum didn't do even when I first got it. I can not say enough about this vacuum. The bags keep the dirt inside and does NOT blow it all over your clean floor or rooms. I returned the first vacuum because of the handle, could not get it seated properly making the on/off switch to the self-propelled (just the off position) hard to toggle. Received the new one today, thanks Amazon, super fast shipping for both vacuums, & the on/off self-propelled switch works fine. Vacuum cleaner has great suction, used the dust tool, the hose seems very rigid and hard to stretch, maybe it will loosen with use. Vacuum has a lot of features for the price. Especially like the self-propelled (that's why I bought it as I am having a hip replacement soon). Like the feature of the brush roll stopping when vacuum handle is put in the up position. Hoping the vacuum will remain sturdy like it is now. Like the way the filters can be washed.
UPDATE: I bought this vacuum for the self-propelled, therefore, I've decided to give 5 stars cause I like it!

I wanted to wait on writing a review until I had the vacuum a while. Well, it's a full year later and I am still extremely happy with my purchase. It seems as though the most expensive vacuums these days are bagless and "so easy" to dispose of the dirt. Well, this vacuum has been mess-free when switching out the bags. I am so glad I went with my gut and chose a bagged vacuum. The self-propel feature is great - a little jerky as other reviewers said which I think also accounts for the "loose" handle. I haven't found this to be bothersome, though. I especially like the hand-held attachment - it's great for the stairs and SO powerful. I vacuum my house about once a week, especially since we got a golden retriever about 6 months ago. This vacuum has held up great, everything is still functioning perfectly. Very satisfied.
