This WHITNEY DESIGN #2103 2-shelf stackable shelving unit is made of chromed steel and provides a quick and simple solution for creating extra storage space. This 2-shelf unit measures 30" in width and 12" in depth and 16.5" in height. A key feature of this unit is that it can be stacked onto a second unit to create a shelving system. WHITNEY DESIGN also offers a second shelving system #2104 designed primarily for shoe storage that can be stacked with this unit. The shelves of this unit are made from heavy duty chromed rods which allow for good air circulation and no dust collection. It takes about 3 minutes to assemble each unit. If you need a quick sturdy solution to clearing clutter off the closet floor, this is it. I've purchased plastic & metal versions before, but the Household Essentials 2103 is the best for price, ease of use, and sturdiness. I put it together in about 2 minutes, it is light weight with the shelving parallel to the floor (instead of tilted) so if you move it around, the shoes or items stay in place. The chrome finish is easy to wipe down if necessary. Currently, I am using this for shoes, but it could easily handle purses or stacks of sweaters. It might also come in handy in a laundry room for detergent bottles on top, an iron below, etc. I would definitely buy another if ever needed.
