Tools and Hardware Reviews of Household Essentials 3000 30-Line Outdoor Parallel-Style Clothes Dryer with Aluminum Arms

Customer Review: excellent customer service
Summary: 5 Stars

A clothes line is a clothes line, but Whitney designs has awesome customer service. I've owned one of their products for many years, unfortunately, the bottom pole got lost in our last move. Couldn't find a clothes line at any local merchants, so order it from Amazon. It broke just after 6 mths. Contacted the vendor I bought it through, they wouldn't help because it was over 6 mths, so I contacted Whitney Designs. They immediately shipped me a new one. Unfortunately, it was the one that looks like an umbrella that got turned inside-out. Contacted WD again, they apoligized for the error, sent me another one like the one I originally ordered and told me to just keep the other. In my experience, WD has excellent custome service.

Customer Review: My Best Friend!
Summary: 5 Stars

"I had one of these clothes lines many years ago and used it until the wind got tired. It was the best friend I had and I moaned when we moved. I have asked every birthday and Christmas for another one, to no avail..but just the other day I went shopping online and surprised myself! I can once again hang my laundry outside in Gods' sunshine and, yes, it is wonderful. And don't worry ladies, the wind won't get tired...no matter how many loads your kids can dirty. So be nice to yourself too,go shopping and get a new best friend.Whitney Design 3000 30-Line Outdoor Parallel-Style Clothes Dryer with Aluminum Arms .Lennie

Customer Review: Great Purchase!!!!
Summary: 5 Stars

I have never owned a outdoor parallel clothes dryer. I followed the directions of how to use concrete and put it in the ground and the next day I was hanging clothes. I have had 3 loads of laundry on it at one time and still had lots of room. I have hung full size comforters, sheet, throws, even a load of jeans and have had no difficulties what so ever.
There was a bad wind and rain storm and did not collapse it and there was no damage or anything. The line did a sag a little after I used it the first time, but did not find it difficult to tighten. I have only had to do this once. I highly recommend this money saver to anyone! This was a very good investment for this family of 6.

Customer Review: Whitney parallel style outdoor clothes dryer
Summary: 5 Stars

This is a very sturdy clothes dryer. It was easy to install, takes up very little space in the yard, and is capable of holding at least three large loads of laundry. It can also be removed easily and folded up and stored anytime you want to use your yard for a party, etc. These clothes dryers used to be readily available in many hardware and other retail outlets, but I was unable find anyone carrying them now. The price including shipping was reasonable and fast. I received it three days after ordering.Whitney Design 3000 30-Line Outdoor Parallel-Style Clothes Dryer with Aluminum Arms

Customer Review: This is a wonderful outdoor clothes dryer!
Summary: 5 Stars

I have had this clothesline for several months. It holds up to four loads of laundry, and easily withstands the wind from the sea. One helpful thing to know: the installation requires slightly more than a sixty pound bag of dry cement (probably seventy pounds would be perfect). Also, use a level to make sure the pole is absolutely straight. I also had to take it down once in order to prune a nearby tree. It came down and reinstalled very smoothly, but I took the precaution of gently tying together the lines on each of the four sides before taking it down. This prevented the lines from tangling. I now use the indoor dryer for about an hour a week instead of five hours!
