Tools and Hardware Reviews of Household Essentials 3000 30-Line Outdoor Parallel-Style Clothes Dryer with Aluminum ArmsCustomer Review: Good Deal for the Money Summary: 5 Stars
Wow, out of the box and ready to use in just a few hours. I dug a hole large enough for a 5 gallon paint bucket, drilled a few holes in the bottom of the bucket, added a little gravel, and poured in a bag of cement. You may need a helper to hold the green plastic base upright while the cement is being poured. We got the "quick set" kind, so within 30 minutes it had set up. The clothesline holds 2 loads of laundry easily. I tightened up the lines a little after the first use. I like the parallel design; all the lines are easily reached. It rotates nicely in the breeze! Best part: not using the dryer, which heats up the kitchen in the summer and runs up the electric bill.
Customer Review: Easy to use clothesline! Summary: 5 Stars
After researching several different clotheslines, I chose this one based on written reviews. It is super easy to set up, my husband simply followed the instructions included and once the concrete was dry, my clothesline was ready! The nicest feature of this clothesline is the ease of set up and removal - we live in a neighborhood where we cannot keep it up overnight, so I fold it nightly and put it inside our screened porch so that it cannot be viewed from the street. The simple ties provided are functional for tying the lines together before folding (to avoid tangles). Very light and easy to carry.
Customer Review: Best and biggest outdoor clothes dryer Summary: 5 Stars
This is the biggest outdoor clothes line I have found and it holds a lot. I had the same brand prior but smaller and loved it. I wanted to be able to get more clothes out on the line so went with this 210' of space one and it is wonderful. I live on the east coast with lots of humidity so I put the clothes every other line and then they dry better. Had I researched these first I would have bought this one first. I also previously owned an umbrella style but this style is so much better. You won't be sorry.
Customer Review: Whitney Design 3000 30-line Outdoor Parallel Style Clothes dryer Summary: 5 Stars
I bought this Outdoor Clothes Dryer last month and am very happy with it. When it has a lot of clothes on it, it spins slowly around on a breezy day. It has plenty of room for lots of clothes on the lines. You will need to dig a big hole and have a couple bags of cement and some rocks on hand to seat the holder for it, but it wasn't hard to do and the directions were clear. I am happy that this dryer can be removed from its hole and stored away in the winter, as I won't be using it much then--too rainy.
Customer Review: perfect Summary: 5 Stars
I love this product and recommend it to anyone trying to save money on electricity. It takes very little time to hang clothes and bring them in. I feel so thrifty using the clothes dryer aka clothes line. I understand that the neighborhood associations have waived the rules for outside clothes dryers now so go for it. My latest thing is to see how many clothes pins I can get in one hand. I love it because I am going back to my old ways and hoping to change some attitudes around here about going solar.
