Tools and Hardware Reviews of Household Essentials 4000 30-Line Outdoor Parallel-Style Clothes Dryer with Steel Arms

Customer Review: Parallel-style clothes dryer with stell arms
Summary: 5 Stars

Love, love, love this product. I had no problems with stinky oils or any other problems.

Customer Review: Does the Job and Meets Expectations
Summary: 4 Stars

I received this just over a month ago after researching a few outdoor clothesline options. I liked that you can fold it up and put it away during bad weather, as I probably won't be using it much here in Seattle over the winter! It arrived on-time as expected, and was fairly easy to set up. Our backyard already had a hole and post from a previous umbrella line so we just plopped it in there. As others have noted, it did have a thin layer of grease, so I did have to clean it before I used it. It came off easily with Simple Green and in less than an hour was ready to go. I'm still tightening the strings as I put out the laundry but that's to be expected. It holds quite a lot of laundry, I'd say four medium-large loads. It seems pretty strong and sturdy and so far I haven't had any trouble with it. I gave it four stars because it met, but did not exceed, my expectations.

Customer Review: I still don't like to do laundry, but I like this clothesline.
Summary: 4 Stars

I ordered this product in order to try and save money and energy by not running my dryer so frequently. I don't have poles or posts to tie a traditional clothesline to, so I wanted to try this. I really like it. It doesn't take up too much space, and I pull it out of the ground when I need to mow. I also plan to take it out this winter. I didn't have the "greasy" lines issue other reviewers did. I really don't have any complaints with the product. I chose to not put my umbrella into concrete and instead just drove it into the ground. I didn't want anything more permanent. It is working very well.

Customer Review: All is well and no grease
Summary: 4 Stars

I was leery about ordering this item when I saw all the feedback about grease, but mine had no grease and was perfectly clean when it arrived. It gives me much more hanging space than the previous aluminum one that I had. I love drying my clothes on the laundry tree as they smell great, it saves on energy and your clothes last longer since you are not baking them in the dryer. Plus, as long as you don't hang the family underwear on the line, they aren't even bad to look at- it's sort of peaceful to see clothes blow in the wind. I recommend this product and and satisfied with my purchase.

Customer Review: Great way to go green!
Summary: 4 Stars

The clothesline is a great way to save on electricty and go green. The hardest part of putting up the clothesline is digging the hole and pouring the cement. The only complaint I have is it needs a cover so it can be used as a patio umbrella as well as a clothesline.
