This hanging hamper from Whitney Design can hang from any door knob or closet/laundry room hook. It works great in motor homes, boats, doom rooms, kid's rooms, bedrooms, and laundry rooms. The hamper measures 27-inch in height by 16-1/4-inch in width by 6-inch in depth. The patented hanger system conveniently holds the top of the bag open at all times. The back of the bag is zippered to allow for easy removal of soiled laundry. We needed a hamper (for kitchen and household laundry) which could fit in the basement stairwell going down to our washer/dryer from the kitchen. There were already a set of hooks against the stairwell wall, so this hamper seemed like it might work. I was very pleased when I got it. The hamper fits perfectly, with a lean profile so it doesn't get in the way of traffic going downstairs. And it keeps itself open, which make tossing dirty laundry into it a snap. Seems to be well constructed... the bag is decent material which shouldn't wear, and the frame and hanger are sturdy.
