I have found this shelf to be exactly what it claims to be - a means of adding moderate storage space to an otherwise often-wasted space. It appears to be steady and solid, holding the odds and ends of our small laundry room, as well as providing space for baskets to hold keys/other items that might usually be tossed on a kitchen counter. I am pleased and would definitely recommend it to increase storage space. I have not had problems with it fitting poorly/sliding around/etc. (even during the washer's spin cycle and while the dryer is in full swing). I bent the supports below the shelf per the enclosed directions to fit both snug and level. We have a Kenmore 80 series washer/dryer.

I had debated purchasing this shelf for months because I wasn't sure it would fit the small space between the dryer and the wall or be sturdy enough to hold my laundry items. I'm so glad I finally made the purchase because it works great! I think the key to a sturdy installation is adjusting the long arms so that they grip the machine tightly-all you have to do is bend them towards the machine until you get a snug fit. It holds my 96-load bottle of liquid detergent, large oxy clean bucket and dryer sheet box without any problems and gets all my gear off the dryer top! The product was shipped quickly and arrived without problems.Customer Review: Sturdy, and a great way to utilize the wasted space behind your washer/dryer.

This shelf was a big surprise. It works ideally with my dryer and turned out to be extremely sturdy yet flexible enough to fit a multitude of applications. It's large and strong enough to easily support a very large container of detergent, bleach and any other laundry items. What a great way to utilize otherwise wasted space.
It's design leads me to believe that it may not work with all washer/dryers. My dryer has as bit of a lip at the top that securely supports the front 'hooks' yet my washer has more of a slope that may not provide as much support.
Overall i think it is a great product especially for the price!

I wasn't sure if these shelves would be wide enough but they're perfect!
Can hold several large bottles of laundry detergent and softeners without showing signs of giving way, and it saves me having to stretch to the high cupboards to get my laundry supplies out.
You need to adjust the arms to fit your washer or dryer - because of the placement of the washer drainage hose in my laundry, my shelf is setup on my dryer - but it doesn't take much effort. Some very quick and easy assembly is required.
The first one was so good, I ordered three more for my rental laundries!!

This shelf is wonderful! It allows one to store all the things one would usually use most frequently close at hand! Personally, mine contains the medium size bottle of liquid Tide, the large bottle of Downy (fabric softener), a large bottle of Clorox, the extra large box of Bounce, a Bleach Pen, another smaller bottle of Clorox and a lingere bag. It definantly holds up to the challege of storing heavy items!!
In my opinion, it's right up there with sliced bread!
