This WHITNEY DESIGN(#5125) indoor clothing dryer is expandable in width from 20" to 34.5". It is made from all steel construction with a chrome finish and creates up to 23.5 feet of drying space. This rack ships unassembled. However, the snap lock assemblies are color coded for quick and easy assembly. The assembled size of the drying rack is 34.5" high and 25.75" deep and can be adjusted from 20" to 34.5" in width. This drying rack is AWESOME. It is small when you have a few items and expands (WIDE) when you have a lot. I loved it so much that when I moved I had to buy a second one and it HAD to be the same exact one. If you need a rack, buy this one!
Addendum: Be careful when expanding - if you go TOO far, you have to fight to re-assemble. I have had mine for less than a year (I bought a new one in June 2005) and the coating is rubbing off, exposing stuff that CAN ruin my clothing.
Alas, it is not at wonderful as I once hoped!
