I bought this product for a toilet paper holder and it was great. However, my daughter asked if she could have it because she desperately needed a plastic grocery bag holder. She loves it. She pulls a bag out of the side when she needs one and she stuffs bages into the top. It also looks good in her pantry.Customer Review: Perfect!

It's nice to look at and small enough to fit in a very tight space. It provides perfect storage for the toilet tissue I use in my bathroom, which is the individually-wrapped, 1000-sheet Scott variety.Customer Review: cute, but for what?

This is pleasant to look at, but so impractical and not really usable as a toilet tissue holder. Forget "double" rolls completely, and I'm quite
sure even single rolls would be ripped to shreds going in and out. The inside is very rough (natural and unfinished). I won't bother sending it back, but sure hope I can find another use for it!

As others have mentioned, the holder was too small for a normal double roll of paper. I'd assume you could buy a small roll of single ply paper or something, but the standard double rolls don't fit.
Additionally, if you try to fit a small roll of paper in there, just to look pretty for guests, it tears up the paper pretty badly. The wicker material catches on the paper very easily, and you ended up with a shredded roll of paper.
Looks nice, just isn't practical, had to return it.
