The Pop up hamper is much better than the ones u can get from the Dollar store... It's larger and much more durable. However it is also 7 times as expensive, only $8 if we want to talk about the actual price though.
Really works great for College students and small households, what I do is I just sit it next to my bureau and throw all the laundries in there then drag the whole thing down the basement on weekends.
Buy it if you don't care too much about $8. I think they can last at least two or three years if not abused.

I bought both of my boys this hamper when I redecorated their rooms. It goes with anything, and the mesh allows the clothes to breathe between laundry days. I wish it was a bit larger in capacity, but 9 and 11 year old boys seem to get their clothes in there, and when it is full to the top, then they know it's time to bring their hampers to the laundry room. Also, we plan to bring one with us on vacations now, because it is easy to collapse and pack!Customer Review: Fine Hamper

Working well as a fine corner clothes hamper. May fall over if top heavy, but works great in corner. I like the mesh and color, as well as free shipping. Haven't tried to drag it around full with handles. Also would work good as a toy container for play area.Customer Review: wonderful!

This hamper is strong, sturdy, and the perfect size. The handles also have not broken yet! It also folds up when not needed. The only thing missing is a little pocket inside for maybe the detergent, but that's okay. This hamper is definitely worth it!Customer Review: Pretty good for the price
