I have small ears, so often stiff earplugs will cause me discomfort. These are very pliable and soft, and fit perfectly in my ears without over-expanding and causing pain like others have. Another benefit is that they expand slowly, which allows more time for me to properly situate it in my ear, rather than the squish-and-jab method I've used with faster expanding plugs in the past.Customer Review: Seriously quiet

The only ear plugs I've used have been the slightly tough foam rolls given out by the airlines. I don't know how I stumbled on these Leight Sleepers... but what a revelation. Like the foam rolls, they expand in the ear canal... but then they keep expanding, gently, until the noisy airplane or the loud hotel guests next door just fade away. I've been using this product for nearly ten years. I wear them to sleep. These are excellent earplugs. They're oh-so-slightly smaller to provide an excellent fit for normal ears. They give superior noise protection if you insert them according to the directions. These great Howard Leight earplugs are what allow me to get a great, restful sleep every night (with a snoring husband beside me). They are comfortable earplugs and really do block out noise very well. I have gone through several rounds of boxes of these in the last couple of years and will continue to buy this product. I've probably tried every earplug on the market and these are definately the best.
They are far more comfortable then any other and completely block out noise (even the base beat on my upstairs neighbor's stereo!).
Just remember to gently twist them as you are removing them to prevent suction in the ear canal.
