Tools and Hardware Reviews of Howard Leight LPF-1 Max Lite Uncorded Foam Earplugs Box, 200 Pair

Customer Review: Comfortable Ear Plugs
Summary: 5 Stars

I've been using foam ear plugs for over 20 years and I always thought they were one size fits all. I stumbled across these and found that they are slightly smaller than the standard size. Because they are smaller, they are easier to insert and are more comfortable when wearing them all day long. I like wearing the foam ear plugs because they don't interfere with my goggles, mask, or headwear. I prefer the ones without cords because the cords always seem to snag on things. I love that these are individually wrapped. I have a few packs stored in my vehicle, some in the garage, some in my tool bag, and the rest in the basement where it is cool for long term storage. Now I always have a pack handy and use them as needed. Before I wouldn't always use them because I wouldn't want to go into the house if I was really dirty just to grab a pair out of the box for a small job. I recommend these to anyone who thinks foam ear plugs are difficult to fit into their ears. You just might need the smaller size. I wish I would have known about these years ago.

Customer Review: peace at last
Summary: 5 Stars

these ear plugs are the best. i currently live on campus and theres always something going on. currently my room is above a very noisy fan. my older brother recomened ear plugs that he uses around the construction site. i took a few packs of these things up to my dorm and they work perfect. i cant hear my noisy roommate snoring or playing on the computer late at night. the fan that use to keep me up all night is now non existant. the only thing i can hear usally is in the morning when my alarm goes off right next to my head. and if i dont hear that my roommate sure does. if you need some peace and quite or you work in a noisy environment these ear plugs are an inexpensive way to get what your looking for. the only downside is they can be a little uncomfortable when you sleep on your side like i do. if you dont properly insert the ear plugs they can fall out if you roll around in your sleep. but over all this has greatly improved my energy during the day because i finally get enough sleep at night.

Customer Review: Almost perfect
Summary: 5 Stars

These earplugs are very nearly perfect for my use, which is primarily sleeping. I'm a light sleeper, and have found I can get a much better nights sleep, fall asleep faster, and sleep longer using earplugs. These are very comfortable, easy to put in, block the majority of noises that keep me awake, but not so much that I couldn't hear the smoke alarm or problems. My wife snores a bit, and I hate the sound of the heating/cooling system, and even the gentle woosh woosh of the ceiling fan can keep me awake, but not with these earplugs. My only complaint, and its minor, is that I wish they made these in a less obtrusive color. Flesh color would be ideal, but I do understand that in industrial applications, they need to be bright so hearing protection can be verified. Just not for my needs. I buy them a box at a time, and they last me over a year. Well worth my $20.00. Other earplugs I've tried are too big, too tight, uncomfortable. These fit and work great. Highly recommended.

Customer Review: Really Great Earplugs - For Me
Summary: 5 Stars

I Tried several types of earplugs. I ride a motorcycle, go flying, use lawn equipment, and come into contact with very noisy environments. I tried all types of earplugs to block the noise and was never really happy with any of them. This includes the whole spectrum of earplugs from custom design, to the many types of plastic earplugs, and then the Styrofoam types. I found that I had very small ear openings and this was causing my inability to get earplugs that behaved effectively and consistently. The Howard light earplugs were ideal for my small ears. it is one of those few times when the ideal product is also one of the lowest cost products. I keep earplugs in the car, motorcycle, and in the garage. They come in a bulk package in each pair is individually wrapped. This is great because I can grab a handful put him in the car and know that I always have some available. In summary they really do the job specifically for small ears and they're very cost-effective.

Customer Review: Awesome earplugs!
Summary: 5 Stars

I have never had to use earplugs before, until a few months back when I had new neighbors move in the apartment above me. They stomp around like elephants late at night I might add, combining that with the squeaking floors, I was wondering how on earth I was going to get any sleep. After a couple trips to Walgreens for ear plugs, I started looking at earplugs here and bought these due to the positive reviews. They block out a lot of noise and in my case the neighbors enough so I can rest peacefully. I can hear my fan faintly but that isn't an issue.

Needless to say, these are a lifesaver. I usually squeeze the ends like it says on the directions, stick them in my ear and they expand gently. It's kind of weird how the sounds around you just fade away. Overall, I would definitely buy these again, I might have to when I run out if those neighbors are still around! 5 stars!!
