Tools and Hardware Reviews of Howard Leight MAX1 Earplugs Uncorded NRR33 Box/200 CountCustomer Review: super Summary: 5 Stars
I've worn these for about four years mostly for motorcycle riding but also for trying to sleep in the same room as my snoring buddies on hunting trips, and a couple times with my circular saw.
These are the most comfortable, most silence inducing plugs I've ever used. Just as a warning though, these aren't miracle workers: because they seal well and are snug (in just about any ear canal) I think your ear will end up a little tender, but it's easily worth the incredible reduction in decibels. And these plugs are much much more comfortable than any others I've tried.
Customer Review: 13 years of suffering with snoring...GONE!!! Summary: 5 Stars
These are the best earplugs ever! My husband snores like a racecar and I have tried all the earplugs out there! These have the highest NRR (which I never thought I would research!!) and are the best. I was buying them pack by pack for 3-5 bucks a pop for a few pairs and then saw them on Amazon and realized I could get 200 (HELLOOO!) for MUCH less! Now here is the weird thing...I worried that I would not hear the kids crying in the night (1 and 2 yrs. old) but I did!!! It was as if my mother's instinct was still functioning while filtering out hubby's snoring! Go figure...
Customer Review: Best ear plugs I've found! Summary: 5 Stars
I have had the opportunity to try a number of disposable ear plugs, and frankly, a lot of them can be tricky to get inserted properly, or begin to make your ears sore after a while. I needed plugs for long motorcycle rides, and the Howard Leight Max's are GREAT! The softer foam stays comfortable for hours, and they expand relatively quickly (slow enough that you can get them in, but you don't have to wait forever for them to expand). Of course, the high NRR is great... the helmet noise is nearly gone, but I can still hear what I need to hear. A great product!
Customer Review: Best earplugs Summary: 5 Stars
I have tried different styles out there, the cylindrical white foam earplugs which quickly dry out and become hard, etc. These work best because they remain soft, are contoured, example longer to occlude the entire outer ear canal. Last year when I was waiting to board the plane I noticed a wall container of the same style earplugs so these must be the real deal if they are also being used to protect against engine noise. Yes, they are more expensive, but worth it for a good night's sleep and I have no problem with using each pair multiple times.
Customer Review: Best Ear Plugs I have Tried Summary: 5 Stars
These are the best ear plugs I have ever tried. I am a firefighter and try to save my hearing as often and as best I can. These cut down chain saw noise, siren noise, and other loud noises without the bulkiness of my over the ear hearing protection. I wear both these and my over the ear protectors when target shooting. I also wear them to get to sleep when I have loud snorers in the bunk room or the wife has a cold and snores loudly. No pain, discomfort, lost seals, or interference from them sticking out to far when sleeping on your side.
