I was concerned a bit about how loud everyone said the fan was on the lowest setting, and honestly, I can't dispute their claims. Fortunately for me, I'm one of those people that doesn't care. I have mine osculating right at the foot of my bed, leave it on all night on low, and it doesn't bother me one bit. The lowest setting is plenty strong enough to keep me cool and keep the air moving.
The construction is strong, solid, and looks great in my bedroom.
As a bonus, my cat loves to plop down right in front of it to cool off, so obviously the sound and vibration doesn't bother him either. The spacing of the fan's grates is tight enough to keep his curious kitty little paws safe too when he's tried to reach in and touch the spinning blades... silly kitty!
