I wish we had read the product reviews on this remote before purchasing it,but we never had a problem with Hunter fans which we had installed in a prior house.We purchased the remote for a master bedroom cathedral ceiling fan.Unfortunately it turns fan on and off and changes speed settings at random times of the day and night.Changed the DIP switches to every frequency but it didn't help.Contacted Hunter and they sent a replacement unit which does the same thing.Service Rep said it's sensitive to ANY outside RFI including cell phones,WiFi etc.This remote is "Made in China" so lack of quality should be no surprise.Replacing the remote receiver is a real pain since the assembled fan has to be tilted to access the canopy to change the receiver.They are sending another remote replacement but at this point I would never buy Hunter again.
