I chose this purifier because it was inexpensive and got a decent review on Consumer Reports. I am very happy with it because its quiet on the low setting so I can leave it on overnight. My husband didn't even notice it was on. (We had to turn off our old purifier but it was meant for a larger room). Only minus-- don't count on being able to use the replacement timer because I found one of the knobs impossibly hard to turn. I love this filter! After one week I was shocked at how much dirt it cleaned up from our air. You do have to replace the filters but it is totally worth it.
If it is in the room with you and you are trying to talk or watch tv it is very NICE to be able to turn it down, to hear better without having to turn it off. Don't get me wrong, even the high setting is NOT that noisey. I highly recommend this air cleaner for the price and for the quality.

This Hepa purifier seem to catch a lot of junk. We've already had to replace the pre-filters after just a month, which tells us how much junk there is in the air. I'm very glad we made this purchase. I don't know how customer service will be for this product and I don't know how long the machine will work, but we run it 24/7 and we bought two of them.Customer Review: Compact decent arifiler

The Hunter 300090 appears to have decent build quality. Fan is not as quiet as I was hoping for, but should not be too loud in most situations and does move a lot of air. Filter is easy to replace. it is a little noisy, but better than what we had before. we have not had a chance to change the filter or to look inside to see how much is being picked up. for the money, i think we made a pretty good choice. seller excellent. came in perfect condition and quickly.
