Another reviewer wrote that this product required some assembly, which I was not looking forward to but thought it would be worth it. However, when the fan came in the mail, it was all in one piece and ready to come out of the box and simply be plugged in.
Operations:
This fan is quiet and has three speeds. Typically I keep it on the lowest speed, which is sufficient enough to keep the air moving in my bedroom. When I first plugged it in, I lay down on my bed to see if I could feel the air flow. I was a little disappointed that I could not, however, I notice a HUGE difference on nights that I have the fan on. I may not be able to feel a direct air flow, but the air movement is definitely noticeable. It cools you down and moves the air without a huge amount of wind wafting right into your face. As someone who just likes to have air flow at night and still be able to hear the television (without it blasting), this fan does the trick.
Style:
The fan looks good. I have a bit of a retro, clean lined look in my apartment and this fits right in (much better than the white plastic walmart pedestal fan) with my decor. The brushed nickel gives it a timeless look and I think it would fit in with nearly any decor or style.
Even though this is a table fan, it does well to cool down a 16x24 bedroom. I am very pleased with the purchase, over all.
My only complaint is that the shipping price for this item is steep. Being an external vendor (not directly through Amanzon), it cost nearly $20 to ship this to my apartment. I would have preferred to just buy it in-store, but apparently fans are not in high demand in January so I couldn't find nice ones anywhere.
