QUIET SOLIDLY BUILT THE OLDFASHIONED FEEL AND LOOK OF CRAFTSMANSHIP AND DURABILITY.....AND IT WORKS AS ADVERTISED! IT MAY HAVE A HIGH PRICE...BUT AS THEY SAY..."YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR". IF YOU BUY PLASTIC OR CHEAPER BRANDS....YOU WILL BE REPLACING THEM WITHIN AFEW MONTHS DEPENDING ON USE....AND END UP SPENDING THE SAME AND IN AFEW MONTHS, AGAIN REPLACING THE PLASTIC ONES...Customer Review: I'm a big fan

I'm thrilled with this metal fan from Hunter, all the more so when I compare it to other small- to medium-sized oscillating fans. The construction is sturdier and the appearance is appealing and clean. While not totally silent, the "whispering" motor is not bothersome. Even on the first (of three) speeds, the fan is effective. This Hunter Fan is very high quality and I believe it will easilly outlast me whereas the lightweight plastic fans get thrown away every three years.It features a slide switch vs a push button therefore much less chance of any spill damaging it's function.Finally, the finish is superb !!! I am 76 yrs old so I have seen and used a great many fans in all those years.Customer Review: Cool to be cool

This fan works as great as it looks. It cools down a room fast. Its quite powerful. On high I can feel the breeze across the room. I use it in a large kitchen. Its solid, stable, made well, nice details, quality retro design, spins smoothly and quietly. 3 speed settings, oscillating option, and tilts easily to any position. Great looks. This is a fan that is made the way fans are supposed to be made! This fan is BUILT!Metal,smooth & quiet operation. Just like the old fans we had when I was a kid. Our only problem is that we now want to replace ALL of our fans. The old plastic ones clunk and rattle....I will replace them all with HUnters over time. WELL worth the extra cost.
