I searched the internet for the insinkerator and found several sources. The one listed on Amazon was the same brand as all others; the big difference was that Amazon had the lowest price! The shipment was made within the next 5 days and tracking info was made available to me throughout the shipment process. It was a very easy and pain-free experience. The pricing was very good. This filter does a good job and lasted us about 5-6 months (2 adults, 1 baby, and 1 4-day/week mom-in law babysitter). We probably should have replaced after 4-5 months. The water flow drops over time, so you will want to replace on a regular basis. The filter does a good job eliminating flavors and sediment; it doesn't add fresh-water flavor like a Brita filter does.Customer Review: Under Sink Hot/Cold water filter

If positioned correctly under sink, this filter is easy to remove and replace. Little leakage from line pressure on removal (use paper towel under filter on removal) and replacement installed very easily. Once in socket, turn until you hear water enter new filter, then flush line as directed. My wife can do it next time...HA HA HA!!!!Customer Review: Great Filter

Also a much better buy on Amazon than the home improvement stores which were charging a greater amount.

I appreciated that this was a easy job to remove the old filter and replace it with the new one.
What I didn't expect was that the volume of water coming out of both the hot and cold faucets increased considerably with the new filter.
