Tools and Hardware Reviews of Indus-Tool FWXXX Cozy Electric Foot Warming PadCustomer Review: My Toes are Toasty Summary: 5 Stars
Despite the carpeting, my feet were constantly losing heat to my home office floor, which is well below ground level. I considered a space heater but I couldn't justify the high power demand and was concerned about the potential hazards associated with such devices. At 90 watts, the pad does a fine job with little effect on my electric bill. After I found myself switching the pad off as my feet became too warm and back on when they got cold again, I took the advice of other reviewers and now use a Lutron TT-300H-WH Lamp Dimmer to maintaining a consistent temperature. This should also reduce the power consumption a bit. I was fortunate in that I didn't experience odor others mentioned in their reviews. If there is a downside, it is that I occasionally forget to turn the pad off when I leave the office. There is no need to leave the pad on as it warms up quickly. However, I cannot fault the product for my own forgetfulness. If you've got cold feet while at your desk, sewing table, or other location where you spend a lot of time, pick up one of these pad. You'll be glad you did.
Customer Review: Lifesaver for computer workers in the winter. Summary: 5 Stars
I don't usually write reviews, but this product deserves a review. Just received the mat for Christmas, and couldn't be happier!
I work on the computer at all hours of the day/night, and am always trying to figure out how to keep my feet warm. Seems like they turn into blocks of ice after a few hours of work. I've tried layering socks, heavy duty slippers, and lastly a space heater. None of them really worked, the first few options don't keep you warm, and the space heater is a fire waiting to happen, uses tons of electricity, and actually didn't even seem to work.
I've been using the mat for a few hours now and it's amazing, it's the perfect amount of heat without being too hot. Seems very well made, and is made in the US, which I consider to be a plus. The combination of effectiveness, build quality, and decreased fire risk make this my favorite gift of the year and I highly recommend it to anyone that hates going to bed with cold feet!
Customer Review: Foot Warming Pad Nice and Toasty Summary: 5 Stars
This is the third foot warmer I have bought in the past 10 years. I find them to be a great way to keep warm at my desk, even in a cool room. I had the Indus-Tool TT Toasty Toes Ergonomic Heated Footrest, but it broke within the first year. This one does not blow warm air around, it just is a nice solid and flat. It seems much more substantial than the Foot Rest. It takes a few minutes to warm up, but is very efficient after that. It can get too warm under bare feet, but stays warm for a while once you turn it off so it's very easy to use. I have it on flat carpet and it does not seem to do any harm. It's too easy to forget that you have left it on. I have added a foot switch cord to it, to make it easier to turn on and off. I recommend this. So far, I find this foot warmer to be just what I wanted.
Customer Review: Footwarmer Summary: 5 Stars
This product is just what we were looking for and at a price we felt we could afford. The only thing I would like you to think about is...the type of shoes you would have on your feet when using this. It does get very warm...almost to the "hot" stage and if you are wearing rubber soled shoes then they may become "soft". I recommend that you put a rug under the map and a towel on top of it. This will help to keep from getting even bare or socked feet from getting too hot.
There is a "smell" when on and it's first new but after a few days of useage it goes away. Just be sure you unplug it after you use it. You don't want to start up a fire if you walk out of the office or if using in your home...go to bed and have it on.
All in all....it is a great "foot warmer" and we love it on those cold winter days and nights when we are at our computer.

If your floor is cold and your feet are cold and your shoes are cold this will help! The pad doesn't run Hot like a space heater. If that's what you want, buy a space heater. It should be used to boost comfort in an area with cold floors. Specifically under your desk or computer desk.
1. Use this foot warmer (if very cold use a space heater till you warm up some.
2. Take off shoes and put on pad - upside down
3. Put sock feet on pad
4. Wait till feet feel warm
5. Wait till shoes feel warm on the inside
6. Put shoes back on (if you feel you must wear shoes)
7. Turn off space heater and continue using foot warmer pad
Remember-- The foot warmer is NOT A SPACE HEATER. If you want a space heater BUY A SPACE HEATER. If you want to maintain or warm up your feet, USE THIS PRODUCT and you will be very happy!
