We love solar lights. They're environmentally above reproach, they're supremely easy to install, cost absolutely nothing to operate and maintenance is as simple as changing a battery every three or four years.We love this set of floodlights; they're markedly brighter than the typical pathway light, yet they're still powered by the sun. And instead of a small solar collection panel on each light, this set has one panel that powers all four lamps. Now, there's an upside and a downside to this. On the bright side (no pun intended), you can place each floodlight in a spot that a solar light couldn't normally go: a shaded planting area, north side of the house - because the collection panel will be placed in full sun. But you can already tell what that means - these aren't exactly wireless. Each light is connected to the solar panel by a 20-foot wire, but it's easily camouflaged in rock beds, grass or flower beds.
The ground stakes are sturdy enough to drive easily into whatever soil you've got, or you can attach it to a fence or post by the mounting brackets to illuminate whatever you like: your entry, garage door, gate, landscaping, flag or house address. All you have to do is place the collection panel in a spot where it gets maximum sun all day, and it'll power your floodlights all night. Customer Review: I have the three light version and love it

I bought the three light version for about $40.00 from a super chain. I really wasn't very confident I'd be happy with solar lights and thoroughly expected to be dissappointed in the amount of light given off and the overall affect. WOW was I pleasantly surprised! This set is sooo easy to set up and install. That night I saw my flower garden illuminated from behind ... spotlighting the perimeter fence. The lights were still glowing strongly when I finally went to bed...so I'm confident they stayed on until dawn. This weekend I plan to pick up more of these great solar lights.
