Customer Review: Not ideal for some wall plate styles

This switch works fine - it's quiet and it's perfect for our bathroom fan that we often would forget to turn off. The only downside is that if you use a ceramic wall plate (or probably any style of wall plate that's thicker than normal), the rotating switch might not stick out far enough. To deal with this you'll need to replace your wallplate with a GFCI-style plate (the type with one rectangular opening), and you'll need to trim the plastic faceplate included with the switch so that it'll fit it into the GFCI opening.
