Tools and Hardware Reviews of Intermatic EJ500C Indoor Digital Wall Switch TimerCustomer Review: Great! Summary: 5 Stars
Love this product! Easy to install, pretty easy to program (directions are good), and really easy to use! Love the flush mount. It also has an "auto-rand" program where you can program in your times for the lights to go on/off and then it will turn them on/off randomly within +/- 20 minutes so that it looks like someone is home because your lights don't go on/off at exactly the same time every day. So program it & forget it!
Customer Review: Excellent timer Summary: 5 Stars
I purchased two of these timers, they are easy to install and program, plus they were a great price. They are great for having outside lights come on automatically including holidays lights during December. Changing a program is very simple, you can have the same light(s) go on & off several times during a 24 hour period. Having purchased some from the local hardware chain which never worked great, these are a dream.
Customer Review: INtermatic Flush Mount Timer Summary: 5 Stars
I am very pleased with this programmbable timer wihch I used to replace an old timer that broke after only 3 years from the same company (Intermatic),but it wasn't a flush mount and I like this one much better. I liked it so much that I got another one to control my outdoor coach lights as well. They showed up within days and installation and programming was fairly easy by just reading the instructions.
Customer Review: Amazingly accurate Summary: 5 Stars
Installed for outside lighting comprised of two carriage lights and a front porch flood, all of which are GE energy saving (florescent)outdoor bulbs. All come on at sundown and go off at sun-up so reliably that I added a second unit to my back porch lights. Installation was very easy, although programing can be a little trying the first time. All in all it is a lot of bang for the buck!
Customer Review: Great timer once you get used to the programming Summary: 5 Stars
This timer works great once you have set up time, and on/off schedule.
I have it replace a basic switch with 2 wires, and it only took about 2 minutes to swap it out. It did take a while to figure out the programming at first, but it's a breeze now.
Once you set it to manual mode, it turns back into switch mode. Just put the big button to turn things on and off.
