The original transformer sent with this unit was defective. It made a loud humming noise you could hear about 50 feet away. Also the wire sent with this unit is way too light of a guage. The kit had 18 ga and it should be at least 12 ga. I only put 14 lights on a 88 watt transformer (max 4w lights at 22 lights) had over 4 volts drop along the 100 foot line. Box arrived on time. Assembly was relatively easy and the installation quite easy. I especially like the way the connector is designed - it ensures contact with the cable unlike some past/other models where you have to press the cable onto the light post hoping for a clean contact.
What I did not like - the swivel mechansim on the spot lights is very weak and will break leaving the light to "hang" down rendering it usless unless you prop it up with a back support. This really takes away from what is certainly a good set.

lights are pretty gud sturdy lil hard to put together lil time cunsuming digging to put the lines down but once set are really good to look at .the lights come on the exact time u set them, the shipping was perfect less than a week on standard shipping oh yeah all the lights were workn but one lights are easy to get at wallmart for cheap lights ,some can just barely tap the light and a piece will fly off but u can easly snap it back on

Broken and missing parts. Have not been able to use as I am still wait for Malibu to send me the replacement parts. Also Malibu was not real helpful in the solution of this problem. They have a web site for this, but it is convoluted and not real user friendly. They obviuosly have a real problem with this, having the web site with hundreds of items for replacement of broken and missing parts.Customer Review: Missing Parts

Lights are a good set for the price. The brightness is just fine for what I am using it for. The lights are plastic, so it is what it is.
I was missing parts. Missing the peices that hold the bulbs in on the spot lights. That means the lights are useless. One of the covers for the spot lights was broken out of the box and one of the ends of the light wires was disconnected.
