I recently purchsed this set. I had been considering lanscape lighting for several months, but knowing little about it determined to wait until I could afford a complete solution.
At the discounted price of $38 this option offered a low risk entry to the technology. I was very happy with the ease of installation and the qty of lights. The lights are plasitic and feel very temporary, but look nice enough. I was able to light up half of my yard, but did have to buy a heavier gauge wire as 100 feet was not quite enough to get the job done.
All in all, I purchased another set for the other side of the yard so that is probably as much of an endorsement as needed.

These lights work great and are a great price. However, with this many lights, it really should come with a higher voltage power pack and more cable. To keep the lights spread out at a decent distance from each other, I wound up adding an additional 100 feet of cable. After adding that, they were too dim. So I had to purchase a second power pack and split the load up. Of course, I was using them as a lawn perimeter. I suppose if you were placing them as just pathway lights, having each light only a few feet apart would work. I've just never been fond of the lights placed that close together.Customer Review: Good deal for the $$

I paid about $40 after shipping and taxes for these lights...seems to be about what I expected for that amount.
They were really easy to setup. They are made of plasitc, but a lot of them out today still are since the metal ones go for about 3x the cost, so I am not sure why the other people were surprised about that fact.
the photo timer works great and we no longer have to turn the lights on and off!!
You may need about 2-3 hours to install them correctly since you will want to hide the wires, at least if you have pets like we do.
Over all, they were a great deal!

First of all we love Amazon.com. These lights came in 2 days! My husband and I put them together; no missing parts and everything went together like it was supposed to. The only thing that wasn't quite clear was that the transformer has to be 10 feet away from the first light. We also spliced into the wire which was okay too. The lights are so nice across the front of our house (on both sides) and they automatically come on and off every night. Neighbors commented how nice they look. Little spotlights are nice too and can be adjusted to shine across your walkway. Would buy again!Customer Review: Excellent value easy to install, years of service!

Unlike other reviewers, I found the product to be simple to assemble and easy to install. I have had a similar set of lights that has ringed my deck for nearly ten years. The lights are on at dusk and off at dawn - 365 days a year. I have had to replace one or two bulbs of the whole lot in that length of time. The package had everything that I needed to install the lights, nothing missing, nothing broken. While they are not high end stuff, they work well and hold up to hot summers and icy-cold winters - and have for years.
