It offers two on/off settings, controlling lamps (including fluorescents), TVs, stereos and appliances. This system is easy to use with a large digital readout making the timer easy to read and reach. This lamp and appliance timer also features a five-foot cord, manual override and to-the-minute accuracy. I bought this timer to turn a light on and off at specific times of the day - a task for which it is extremely well suited.
Only Complaints....
Only accepts two prong plugs.
You have to have an end time for whatever appliance you want turned on and off. You can't just say turn on at 11, you also have to specify when it should turn off (not a big deal for most things but it can be inconvenient)
Unit is easy to use and read. Slightly pricier than other timers but I would definitely recommend it.
