Customer Review: Great chair for the money!

I was looking for a hammock chair to replace our old tire swing for my son who likes to sit outside and read. I shopped around & read reviews for several makes from $20 to over $150. I took a chance on this chair for under $20, the reviews were good. We have had it up for 3 weeks and so far no problems. We leave it out in sun & rain. The cotton rope has not shrunk much after being rained on. The rope the chair is made from is heavy, the knots tight, & the frayed rope ends secured with thin plastic sleeves. The cross bar is 1-1/4" round hardwood & the 3 rings are 1/4" cross-section welded steel. For under $30, including shipping, if it lasts 2 years I'll be satisfied. As for comfort, the chair is wide & deep so if you are average size, you can cross your legs & lean back for comfort. Sitting in the chair with your legs hanging out, the front rope will pull into your legs just behind the knees and hurt a bit. This is just the nature of a rope chair vs a full size hammock which you can lay flat on. We'll get a seat cushion to ease the pulling when we sit legs out in the chair.
So far, no complaints on this chair & the price can't be beat!
