Having spent many hours looking for three-way bulb table lamps that would go into a home living room and or kitchen to provide good reading or ambiant lighting, but not wanting to spend big money through such as Pierre Duex or even Ballard that have my style, and which would fit into eclectic combo of french and american country, with traditional and antique furnishings I was feeling defeated at the price of lamps. When I found these on line I ordered. They just arrived. While a very close look and touch reveals they are not iron-based, from the normal point of view they have a natural almost rustic look that fits my need. I do think the instructions need to be clear that you pull the cord taut from the base when assembling.....it was a bit confusing to this person who is not all that handy....overall pleased.Customer Review: Great Buy

I was trying to buy two of these lamps for my bedroom nightstands and I couldn't find two in one store so I had to buy one at my local Target and then go across town to buy another one. I purchased this to match the bronze hardware on my bedroom furniture but at night, the lamp looks like black metal unless you get really close to it. It requires a 3-way bulb (I don't know if the description on the website states that) and it has a long cord so you shouldn't have to worry about getting an extension cord depending on where you situate this lamp. Definitely a nice accent to any part of your home. I would have bought the floor lamp for my bedroom but these two lamps light up my room enough.Customer Review: Pretty and elegant

The lamp is a little bigger than I thought, and the shade that came with it is a different color than the one that came with the matching floor lamp. Other than that, I am happy with it. It's a pretty, elegant-looking lamp. It's sturdy and doesn't seem like it's going to fall apart any time soon. I'm not blown away, but I am satisfied.Customer Review: WOW!

I received this lamp 2 years ago from my mother in law as a gift. I loved it so much I got another one and both are still in great condition and are very attractive. I suggest dusting the shade and base at least once a week because the shade especially picks up the dust.
