This safe has a unique twist lock that locks the top and bottom of the safe together. The closet light is 8 inches in diameter and 3 inches thick. The inside dimensions of the safe are 7 and five-eight inches x 7 and five eight inches x 1 and one-half inches and is divided into 2 shelves. I bout this safe. And although it was a touch hard to open at first, i finally got it to open.
Its really no more than an oversized touch lamp with an opening in it.
Both the lamp and the safe part works. Though the safe part is rather limited in the amount of stuff it can hold.
Its a good product.
