My Son in in the Navy. He transferred and left a lot of stuff for me "to mail to him when I could". A lot of stuff. I bought this footlocker and filled it with 56 lbs of stuff. Put on a padlock and just in case used black duct tape to help seal it shut on the ends...cost me 61 dollars SAM at the USPS. He got it and intends to keep the case. I bought another and keep in my trunk for an organizer...groceries, car gear, you name it. I have since bought another for miscellaneous storage in the garage. Good product and good enough. Driving a small 2-seat roadster on long trips sometimes presents a challenge in carrying everything you need. This wheeled trunk and a receiver hitch cargo rack make it easy. This is a lightweight but sturdy trunk with a good capacity. While not advertised as waterproof, it will keep your things dry, even in the rain. The wheels (like those on inline skates) work well and make getting the trunk from one place to another esay to do, even when fully loaded. My son used this trunk to haul and store his stuff for Boy Scout Camp. He was able to fit all the gear he needed for a week at camp--even his bedding. The wheels made getting the trunk from the parking area to the campsite fairly easy despite the semi-rough terrain. There is a place where a lock can be fastened.Customer Review: just what I needed

I needed something for storing keepsake items (pics, kids artwork, etc.)that would be portable (roll) in case of fire, etc. I live alone and need to be able to move them quickly by myself. chests are roomy and rollers work great - thanks!Customer Review: Good trunk for the price

My son uses this for Boy Scout summer camp. Not real sturdy (don't use it as a stepstool) but lightweight. I'm not sure I would use it as airline checked luggage. Wheels are useful.
