Great in the kitchen with taking things out of the oven, and handling hot pots and pans. But, the real test: lost electricity for four days, and had to use the wood burning stove for heating the house. Used the Ove glove to safely open and close the iron doors, and actually grab onto burning logs and turn them with my Ove glove covered hand inside the 500+ degree firebox. Got quite sooty, but it cleaned up well in the washing machine.Customer Review: Works as advertised!

This item works as advertised. But they don't tell you that the glove is designed to fit either hand. So go ahead and get two. You will need them both to lift heavy dishes out of the oven. They're much more reliable than regular pot holders that can slip when you're trying to retrieve a dish from the oven. The glove may be a little tight for a man with large hands. I have medium size hands and the glove is fairly tight for me.Customer Review: Ove Glove Love

I bought this product for my MIL for Christmas. I recently had the opportunity to try this product out. I love it. I have used similar products as previous jobs and have never used one for cooking. I loved how it is thin enough that I can feel the pan and not feel like I am going to drop it. I used it when removing ribs from the broiler and I could not feel the heat.

This is the only glove I have ever found where you can rest assured you will never burn your fingers again AND have the flexibility to
pick hot pans up securely. I believe the technology comes from a material used in firemens' clothing. This is my second pair and I will keep buying them. Trouble is the rest of the family think they are gardening gloves! Go for it - they are great.
