I bought this fire extinguisher a couple of years ago because it looked similar to the First Alert one I'd had for years, then used to put out a small kitchen fire. Well, I had another small kitchen fire (NEVER check your email while heating oil in a wok!), and after pulling the pin on this one, I pressed the discharge button...and nothing happened. My husband put out the fire with water (not really the best option with an oil fire). After removing and replacing the trigger button, I took the extinguisher outside and was able to get it to discharge. I'm giving it 2 stars instead of one because perhaps I needed to press it harder in the first place, but a fire extinguisher that doesn't work right the first time is pretty useless.
