This Carbon Monoxide Alarm offers digital display allowing easy viewing of carbon monoxide levels. Its 9V battery back up provides you and your family protection even during power outages. The KN-COPP-3 features a hide-a-way cord that allows for multiple installation possibilities. Digital Display, 9V battery back up, Hide-a-way cord, Test/Reset Button, Loud 85dB Alarm, Low Battery Warning, Easy InstallationDesigned for residential use, the Nighthawk Carbon Monoxide detector keeps everyone in the house safe from poisonous, odorless CO fumes. The unit detects carbon monoxide levels from 30 to 999 parts per million. Its low-profile design doesn't stand out when connect to any wall outlet. The unit plugs directly into AC outlets for easy setup, and comes equipped with a 9-volt battery for backup during power outages. Its loud, 85-decibel alarm is sure to alert the whole house when safe carbon monoxide levels are breached. The Nighthawk is UL listed, and features a continuous digital readout of carbon monoxide levels, as well as peak-level memory display, and a test/reset button. I will not buy Kidde again.
I bought one of these and it false alarmed many times. I got a replacement from Kidde, and it does the same. I moved all around the house trying to find where it would work OK. I finally got fed up at 2:45am last night and threw it away. It was saying gas, there was no gas. I have another older AC powered CO detector and it has gone off only once in many years and that seemed to be from highway pollution.
