I'm replacing a similar 4 year old Kidde alarm without digital display that had started to generate repeated false alarms. CO alarm devices apparently have a fairly limited life. The digital display should help to confirm any future audible alarms. Batteries were included. Mounting holes matched the old unit. Very satisfied with the price.Customer Review: Bought 3

Bought three - one for each floor of our home. Seem to be working. We tested them. We have 2 old ones in the house and wanted to have extra 'insurance'. Arrived promptly. I like that I can prop them up in inconspicuous places or screw them into the wall. The front battery panel is a huge plus. I really like the digital display on this unit. Gives more indication on the status of the monitor that the simpler models. I have two of these and have been happy with both. Recent carbon monoxide related deaths in Colorado have increased demand and made these units hard to find locally. Received quick service from Amazon and a good price.Customer Review: Good investment

There are so many cheap products that have been designed to keep us safe and advertise ease of use and too often, they let the consumer down. This CO detector is not one of those items! After recently learning that CO detectors need to be replaced after 5 years, I went on the hunt to find new ones. The Kidde KN-COPP-B got great reviews at a very reasonable price so I ordered 2 of them. They arrived quickly, were easy to set up and are in great working condition. I'm very happy with this purchase.
