This is the second one of the smoke alarms I have bought. The first one went seven years with no problems. Then it started alerting that it was time for a new alarm. So of course I replaced it with the same alarm. In another seven years I will replace it with the same alarm again if I can. This smoke detector is great.Customer Review: Great Product

The Kidde KN COSB B carbon monoxide and smoke alarm is a great product. This is My 2nd one. The first one I purchased outlasted the recommended life by many years. I feel safe with this alarm.

I purchased this as a replacement. I had a very good experience with the old one so I wanted the same kind & model. Your time table for us receiving it was surpassed and it arrived about 3 days before we were told it would arrive. I go to VT and after that C0 leak my mom freaked out so I bought this. Like I said I have no idea how well its working but I am not dead yet so I guess that counts for something
