I purchased the detector to replace one that has been in service for 7 years and reached its end of life. I have had no issues with this model detector. There are 3 installed in my home and I will continue to use these as long as available. Best features are the 120VAC operation and the combination smoke and CO2 capability. These smoke and carbon monoxide detectors install easily and all tests indicate they work well. We have had no false alarms and when we managed to burn some bread in the oven, they proved to work quite well. We have them installed in a system and it was a simple matter of replacing the old ones with these and they worked in the system seamlessly.Customer Review: Works as advertised

Product was easy to install. I installed 2 of these at different levels in my house. If one of the alarms goes off, the other one picks up the alarm signal and it goes off too. I like this feature, but others may not. The voice warning alarm is loud and clear. The battery back up is a nice feature. So far I haven't had any false alarms.Customer Review: Love it

Easy to install and works as advertised.
My house already had hard-wired smoke detectors, so I didn't have to even use the included wiring harness. I just unplugged and removed the existing alarms, and then installed and plugged in these new ones.
Hope I never have to use it.
