The diagram that comes with the lock and shows how all the pieces fit together did not show a round washer that was in the box. I waisted several hours trying to install the lock without using the washer but it would not line up correctly. I called their tech service to ask about the misalignment problem and they had no idea why it was happenning. When I made a subsequent call to ask about the extra piece they told me where to apply it and the alighnment problem went away. They need to fix their diagram.
It was a little stubborn in accepting the fingerprint of my 10 year old. It took about 5 tries till it registered. But after it is programmed with everyones finger print it works beautifully and it is so much easier and faster to use than my previous one, which came with a key pad into which you had to enter a four digit number to lock or unlock the door. I didn't realize how much of a pain it was to use the old one until I installed this one.
