The unit is operated by a key on the outside and turn-piece on the inside of the door for easy locking.This handleset is adjustable for 2-3/8- to 2-3/4-inch backsets and fits doors 1-3/8 to 1-3/4 in thickness with both knobs retracting. The Kwikset 6-way adjustable latch fits square-corner, round-corner or drive-in applications, and the latch has a 1/2-inch throw so that the door stays closed.
