Customer Review: Not That Easy to Install

This product appears to be what it is advertised to be. Unfortunately for me, I could not install it due to the siding on my house. The vent I wanted to replace was 16 feet up the side of the house and installed under 2 laps of siding. There was no way to cut thru to install this Dryer vent, from a ladder and that high up. And because of the overlap between 2 laps of siding, it was impossible to install on top of the siding. I am sure this is a very good product, but it installation is not as simple as written on the side of the box. It is very dependent on the type of siding, the current vent's height on the side of the house and how the current vent is installed.
