Customer Review: Handy flashlight with many uses

I picked up one of these UV flashlights as part of a recent order. The main use was going to be for use with my powdercoating - using a UV flashlight allows you to confirm that you have a uniform coating of powder on the piece before baking the piece to set the powder. However, I have found myself using it for a number of other uses since purchasing the flashlight.
My mother has been helping out with local stray cats - getting them fixed and finding them homes. Unfortunately, the most recent kitten was diagnosed as having ringworm. The vet told her that she would be able to see the fungus under a blacklight and she remembered that I had one from some Halloween decorations so she asked to borrow it. I told her that I could do one better and brought over the flashlight for her to use - much easier than the large fluorescent blacklight fixture that I had. Not only has she been using it, but she also bought one for the local animal rescue organization and one for another friend involved in the rescue.
Another animal related use is finding where a dog or cat has had an accident and urinated in the house.
I've also used it a couple times to find objects that I dropped in the shop. Small plastic parts that disappear on the floor glow brightly under the UV light - as does all of the lint and dust on your living room floor... :)
Quite handy and an excellent value for the price!
